“People are resisting our transformation.”

Don’t dismiss it as irrationality.

Resistance is often rational:

– Fear of job loss
– Uncertainty about new ways
– Loss of expertise/status
– Change fatigue from past failures

The fix isn’t “better communication.”

It’s:
1. Listen to concerns (they’re often valid)
2. Address them directly (don’t dismiss)
3. Involve resisters in solution design (people support what they create)
4. Demonstrate quick wins (build confidence)

Sometimes the loudest resisters become the strongest advocates once they see it working.
